McKinlays Residential Building Surveyors were formed in 2010 by the merging of two seperate companies, combining the well known and respected brand of McKinlays and the many years experience of Philip Cadwell AssocRICS DipHI, MRPSA.

Philip's experience covers a whole variety of property types and ages both Rural, and Urban.  This experience and knowledge enables us to offer our clients a fully comprehensive Building Surveying service.

Philip Cadwell ran a successful and well known property preservation business for over 15 years. Philip studied at the Building Research Establishment in Watford and gained his Diploma in Home Inspection, and a Diploma in Doestic Energy Assessment, he later studied with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in London, and when he qualified he was elected an Associate  member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.  He worked for 4 years with a Surveying practice in Southampton. He left the Southampton practice to team up with Mckinlays, and form McKinlays Chartered Building Surveyors.
